The Don Tyson Endowed Scholarship for Agriculture, Food and Life Sciences Fund provides support to students who are a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale, Arkansas pursuing post-secondary education at the University of Arkansas Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food, and Life Sciences.
The Don Tyson Endowed Scholarship helps deserving students pursuing a career in agriculture continue their education by providing financial assistance for tuition and books over one academic year.
The criteria for selection of the scholarship recipient is determined by the selection committee, and may include, but not limited to, academic performance, financial need, extracurricular activities, community involvement, and special circumstances.
Qualified applicants must:
• Be graduating seniors from an accredited public high school in Springdale,
• Enroll at the University of Arkansas Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food, and Life Sciences as a full-time student, and
• Have a minimum of a 3.00 GPA.
Age, race, sex, marital status or religious affiliation will have no bearing on eligibility for this scholarship.
