The Jack and Glenna Hellstern Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to Springdale High School seniors who exhibit financial need, have the ability and motivation to complete the post-secondary course of study and the willingness to work to supplement the scholarship funds received.
The Jack and Glenna Hellstern Scholarship helps deserving students continue their education by providing financial assistance for tuition, fees, and books over one academic year.
The criteria for selection of the scholarship recipient is determined by the selection committee, and may include, but not limited to, academic performance, financial need, unusual circumstances, demonstrated leadership in school, community involvement and character.
Qualified applicants must be:
• Graduating seniors from an accredited public high school in Springdale, and
• Enrolling at a four-year college or two-year Vocational/Technical school in pursuit of a degree
Age, race, sex, marital status or religious affiliation will have no bearing on eligibility for this scholarship.
