The Willard Walker Rotary Scholarship Fund provides financial support to a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale pursuing post-secondary education at a university, community college, or vocational school in Arkansas.
USE OF FUNDS
The Willard Walker Rotary Scholarship helps deserving students continue their education by providing financial assistance for tuition, books, and associated fees for up to four years.
The criteria for selection of the scholarship recipient is determined by the selection committee, and may include, but not limited to, academic performance, financial need, unusual circumstances, and volunteer, work, or extracurricular activities.
Qualified applicants must be:
* Graduating seniors from an accredited public high school in Springdale, with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum cumulative ACT score of 24, and
* Enrolling in a 2-year or 4-year university, community college, or vocational school in Arkansas.
Age, race, sex, marital status or religious affiliation will have no bearing on eligibility for this scholarship.
