The Springdale Rotary Workforce Readiness Scholarship Fund provides support to a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale pursuing a vocational degree or certificate at a School or program in Arkansas.
USE OF FUNDS
The Springdale Rotary Workforce Readiness Scholarship helps deserving students continue their education by providing financial assistance for tuition, books, and associated fees for up to two years of assistance.
The criteria for selection of the scholarship recipient is determined by the selection committee, and may include, but is not limited to, financial need, unusual circumstances, work experience, and academic performance.
Qualified applicants must be:
* Graduating seniors from an accredited public high school in Springdale;
* Seeking a certificate or degree in a post-secondary program that does not terminate in a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree;
* Enrolling at a two--year college or vocational school in Arkansas; and
* Willing to attend a Rotary meeting at both Springdale clubs.
Age, race, sex, marital status or religious affiliation will have no bearing on eligibility for this scholarship.
