The Kappa Delta Foundation offers $51,000 in Confidence U Grants to colleges and universities to develop confidence-building programming and awareness initiatives for women on their campuses. Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded to colleges or universities.
As part of Confidence U, Kappa Delta also presents a $1,000 award to one Panhellenic representative or university leader who is making a strong and visible difference in the lives of women on his/her campus.
The grants provide needed funding for colleges and universities to address one or more issues that affect women on their campuses, such as eating disorders, unhealthy relationships, alcohol abuse, body image, cyberbullying and more. Programming can include workshops, speakers, special presentations, awareness campaigns, etc. This initiative allows campus leaders to make an impact in the lives of women and influence their campus culture.
The deadline to apply is April 1, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Recipients will be announced in late-June and the grant period will begin August 1, 2017.
