The Scholarship of Promise and Potential provides support to students who are a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale pursuing post-secondary education at a two- or four-year college or vocational school.
The Scholarship of Promise and Potential helps deserving students further their education by providing financial assistance for tuition, fees and books over one academic year.
The criteria for selection of the scholarship recipient is determined by the selection committee, and may include, but not limited to, academic performance, financial need, unusual circumstances, and volunteer, work, or extracurricular activities.
Qualified applicants must be:
• Graduating seniors from an accredited public high school in Springdale,
• Enrolling at a two- or four-year college or vocational school, and
• Have a minimum 2.75 high school GPA.
Age, race, sex, marital status or religious affiliation will have no bearing on eligibility for this scholarship.
