2017 Community Foundation Grants Application

Deadline: December 01 2017 at 03:00 PM EST

Description

The Community Foundation of Switzerland County, Inc. is offering two different levels of requests for funding in 2017:

1) If you are requesting $2,000 or under, you will be applying for an Immediate Response Grant. This means that once you submit a grant application, the Community Foundation will make a decision on the grant within 15 days. There are no deadlines for Immediate Response Grants but the last day you may submit one for 2017 is December 1st.

2) If you are requesting over $2,000, you will be applying for a Fixed Cycle Grant. There are two deadlines for this type of grant: 3:00 p.m. on March 1st and September 1st. Grant applications submitted under the Fixed Cycle will be notified of the status of their grant within 60 days of the deadline.

To simplify the process, both the Immediate Response Grants and Fixed Cycle Grants have the SAME grant application. However, Fixed Cycle Grants will go through a more intensive evaluation and applicants can expect to be contacted for follow-up information.

Requirements

*Grants will be made only to charitable projects or programs that benefit the residents of Switzerland County.

*For organizations that have been awarded grants in the past, all grant reporting requirements must be current before applying for another grant in 2017.

*For anyone that would like to discuss grant application ideas, please contact Pam Acton at 812-427-9160 or pacton@cfsci.org.
