Tuition Policy: Tuition for Cleveland Bridge Builders is currently $3,300. Each participant is required to contribute a minimum of $300 personally towards the tuition. The remaining balance may be paid by the individual, an employer, or some other source.

The personal contribution of $300 plus one-half of the remaining tuition will be due immediately upon acceptance into the program. The remaining balance will be due before the CBB Opening Retreat in September 2018.

Scholarships are available for participants whose employers are unable to fund the balance of the tuition. However, there are no full scholarships available. Applications for partial scholarships are separate from the Cleveland Bridge Builders application and are available here.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by a scholarship selection committee made up of alums of the program. Scholarships will be distributed once the class is chosen.

Payment plans are also available for those in need of tuition assistance.

Selection Process: All applications will be handled in strictest confidence. To ensure that selection is based upon Cleveland Bridge Builders selection criteria alone, each completed application is assigned a number and goes through a blind selection process. The selection committee will not receive any identifying or demographic information on applicants, nor will members receive any information regarding requests for scholarships. Identifying or demographic information is collected for internal purposes only. The names of individuals providing references will also be removed. The purpose of the numbering system and anonymous process is to ensure that selection of participants is based solely upon the objective review of an individual's application. The selection committee will review each application including the related references, and select class participants. Applications will be scored on the following subject areas: problem-solving skills, commitment to community, leadership roles, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Should you have any questions related to the application process, please do not hesitate to send an email to Rachel Ciomcia at, or contact our office at 216-592-2280.
