Graduate Fellowship Program

Deadline: March 16 2018 at 11:59 PM MDT (Midnight)

Description

PERC's fellowships for graduate students and law students offer the ideal opportunity for those who are interested in researching issues related to natural resources and the environment.

Graduate fellows spend three months at PERC in Bozeman, Montana, researching and writing a paper under the supervision of a PERC senior fellow. While at PERC, fellows are required to present two workshops to outline, report on, and summarize their research findings. A paper of publishable quality is the expected result.

Fellows will receive three payments of $2,250, the first at the end of one month in residence, the second after two months, and the third after the final draft of the student’s research paper is approved by his/her mentors and the director of the program. In addition, reimbursement for reasonable domestic round trip travel expenses to Montana will be provided.

Please note that if chosen for the program, you are required to complete an evaluation of the program your final week in residency.

We will begin reviewing application materials shortly after March 16, 2018. We will continue accepting and reviewing applications until we have acceptances from four applicants for the summer.
