This form is for new applicants applying for the "special scholarships" listed here. We call these scholarships "special" since they have unique application criteria compared to our "general scholarships."
If you have already received one of these scholarships from the Foundation and wish to renew it for the upcoming school year, please use the Form for Special Scholarship Renewals .
Special scholarship applications are evaluated by volunteer reviewers and awarded on a competitive basis with consideration given to academic record, extracurricular activities, work experience, financial need, recommendation letter, and an essay. Final decisions are made by the Board of Trustees of Connecticut Community Foundation. Students who are relatives of Connecticut Community Foundation trustees, scholarship reviewers or staff members are ineligible to apply for scholarships.
Announcement of final awards will be made in early June. Scholarship awards may range in size and are payable to the school the student plans to attend.

- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of B- (2.75) or higher.
