2018 Form for Renewal Applicants (General Scholarships)

Deadline: February 15 2018 at 11:59 PM EST (Midnight)

Description

Connecticut Community Foundation awards many scholarships, primarily to students pursuing undergraduate degrees at accredited colleges. Students seeking to RENEW scholarships they have previously received from Connecticut Community Foundation can use this form to re-apply.

If you have NOT received a scholarship from the Foundation before, then use the General Form for New Applicants

Scholarship applications are evaluated by volunteer reviewers and awarded on a competitive basis with consideration given to academic record, extracurricular activities, work experience, financial need, recommendation letter, and an essay. Final decisions are made by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. Students who are relatives of Connecticut Community Foundation trustees, scholarship reviewers or staff members are ineligible to apply for scholarships.

Announcement of final awards will be made in early June. Scholarship awards are typically in the $2,000 range and are payable to the school the student plans to attend. Most (but not all) awards are renewable for up to four years, provided that students continue to meet grade eligibility requirements.

For additional scholarship program information, contact Connecticut Community Foundation at 203.753.1315 at scholarships@conncf.org.
